This letter is for the smart person that made the cartoon in Wednesday, July 16th newspaper. What kind of a heart do you have, to insult a veteran that put his life on the line for you and me. I don’t care what politics are, one way or the other, its the lack of respect for our men and women in the service. I am proud of our U.S.A., and I hate the lack of intelligence of anyone, who thinks a cartoon like that shown a veteran on a walker. Very much a lack of culture as well. Think of all who have lost their legs and arms. I am the mother of two veterans. I am totally disgusted. I do hope there is no more cute cartoons of this fashion.
