Thumbs up, thumbs down

Thumbs up... to Arma’s 62nd Annual V-J Homecoming. The town thrives on this three-day festival that brings an unmatchable sense of community to the area. We wish all those taking part in the festivities a good time and congratulate the town and the planning committee on another successful event.
Thumbs down... to 22 percent voter turnout in the primary election in Crawford County. With one of the most historic general elections just three months away, we urge voters to at least triple that number in November.
Thumbs up... to the new “Jungletron” being installed at Pittsburg State. The new screen and scoreboard will just add to the already amazing game day atmosphere at Carnie Smith Stadium.
