We are excited to invite all area Accounting Professionals and Accounting Students from the surrounding Colleges and Universities to our first Local IMA Tri-State Chapter #197 meeting to kick off our 2009-2010 year.
We have great speakers scheduled for our monthly meetings and we hope our current IMA Members will attend all the meetings. We also encourage Non IMA Members to come to our meetings as well. Our Board has been working hard all summer long to bring in great speakers and very interesting topics so you won’t want to miss any of them.
Thanks to our first guest speaker, Mr. Jeff Gibson, Director of Budgeting and Operations at MSSU, IMA is going to be one of the first to tour the recently completed Billingsly Student Center.
Dinner catered by Sodexho (MSSU’s food service provider) and Mr. Gibson’s presentation will all be in the Billingsly Student Center. Come hear how MSSU plans on how to combat the challenging times and what may be brewing as Mr. Gibson described as “the perfect storm” with state appropriations in 2011.
Please reply no later than Friday, September 11 by 1:00 p.m. Regular member meal cost is $15.00. Non-IMA Student Members meal cost is $10.00. Students who are IMA members will pay just $7.50.
The chapter is billed for the number of reservations we make so we must bill no-shows.
