Fort Scott National Historic Site holds Memorial Day activities

FORT SCOTT — Back in the 1840s, the main weapons of mass destruction were the cannons.
Visitors to Fort Scott National Historic Site learned about them and heard their roar Saturday as the site began its Memorial Day weekend activities.
