OLATHE — The Pittsburg girls track and field team finished sixth in the overall team rankings at the Olathe Invitational on Thursday. Ten teams participated in the meet.

Pittsburg’s Faith Turner finished first in the Girls 100 Meter Dash with a time of 12.33. McKenzie Wilks got a first place finish in the Girls 1600 Meter Run, running a 5:01.24. Wilks also finished first in the 3200 Meter Run, with a time of 11:12.04.

Andres Arriola captured third in the boys 800 Meter Run, finishing with a time of 2:02.29. The Dragon boys 4x800 Meter Relay team finished in second place, at 8:15.94. Joel Kafka came in third in Boys Triple Jump, with a 42-01.50.

The boys overall team ranking was not reported by press time.
