St. Mary’s Colgan fought off the passing attack of the Humboldt Cubs to win 39-20 on Thursday, at Hutchinson Field. Thanks to the rushing attack of the Panthers that scored five touchdowns on the ground, the Panthers were able to improve to 6-2 on the season.With the win, the Panthers are now 2-0 in district play and face Erie next week.

Pittsburg High School Soccer showed its ability to respond to adversity Thursday night against Independence.In a matter of 2 minutes, 36 seconds of the second half, Pittsburg went from a 1-0 lead to a 2-1 deficit.

The Pittsburg High School Purple Dragons soccer team traveled to Columbus and crushed the Titans 10-0 on Tuesday, thanks to a strong offensive effort in both halves of the game.
