Girard’s Tessa Westhoff carded a 9-hole score of 50 to win the Girard Invitational on Tuesday.
She tied with Parsons’ Taylor Russ, but won the individual title on a scorecard playoff.
Fort Scott Red came away with the team title with a score of 216. Girard 1 was second with a 223 and Girard 2 finished third with a 228. Parsons finished fourth with a 264 and Fort Scott White rounded out the teams by placing fifth with a 279.
Fort Scott’s Kaci Brown finished third with a 51 and teammate Dana Ballou was fourth, tying with fellow Tiger Cassie Ogran with a 53.
Miranda Evans and Canese Jarboe tied for sixth with a 54.
Christina Biancarelli was eighth individually with a 55.
Riley Wunderley of Fort Scott carded a 58 to place ninth and Girard teammates Starr McLeod and Madalyn Smith tied with Fort Scott’s Shelby Blackburn for 10th with a 59.
Rachel Brown was 13th along with fellow Trojan Darci Boultinghouse and Fort Scott’s Morgan Morash with a 60.
Girard’s Peyton Herlocker finished 16th with a 61.
