PITTSBURG —

With Tuesday’s completion of the JL Hutchinson Intermediate League tournament, the task at hand now is to set All-Star teams for upcoming Hap Dumont tournaments.
On Wednesday, Chris Ratzlaff, commissioner of the JL Hutchinson League, released the list of players selected for the All-Star teams in their respective age groups.
For the 13 and under squad, Jerry Standlee, who managed Pizza Hut in the Intermediate League, will take control of the Pittsburg All-Stars.
Members of the 13s All-Stars include: Blake Barto (Millers), Leonard Barton (CCBA), Austin Beckley (KTCU), Spencer Bernhardt (Commerce Bank), Dylan Crozier (CCBA), Nate Grimaldi (VFW), Charley Hensley (Commerce Bank), Anthony McNeely (Chatters), VJ Piccini (Millers), Matt Standlee (Pizza Hut), Nick Vacca (Pepsi) and Blake Vail (KTCU).
Four of the players, Vail, Bernhardt, Hensley and Beckley, all played in Tuesday’s Intermediate League tournament championship.
The 13s will gear up for the Hap Dumont State Tournament at the Planeview Ball Complex and the Cessna Activity Center in Wichita.
For the 14s, Dave Gromer, the head coach for Crawford County Bar Association (CCBA) will take the reins of the All-Star squad.
The 14s All-Stars include: Broc Bennett (Millers), Keaton Brown (Chatters), Sam Gilbert (CCBA), Dylan Gromer (CCBA), Garrett Keys (VFW), Jesse Newcomb (Chatters), Zack Smith (VFW), Chris Smith (VFW), Jack Villamaria (Chatters), Shelby White (Millers), Markell White (CCBA) and Joe Wimmer (KTCU).
The 14s All-Stars will play their state tournament at the Lake Shawnee Baseball Complex in Topeka.
Jeff Elliott, manager of the Intermediate League tournament runners-up, Commerce Bank, will be the head coach for the 15s All-Stars.
The squad will consist of: Nate Arnold (Millers), Christian Boor (Chatters), Matt Clark (Commerce Bank), Jordan Elliott (Commerce Bank), Andy Farmer (KTCU), Austin Haake (Commerce Bank), Brad Markley (KTCU), Drew Mattson (Commerce Bank), Joe Saia (Pizza Hut), Robert Seward (KTCU), Winston Slavens (Pepsi) and Jordan Smith (VFW).
The 15s All-Stars have seven players that took part in the Intermediate League Tournament championship on Tuesday night.
The 15s state tournament will be held at Bill Burke Park in Salina.
After competing in state tournaments, each team can qualify for the Hap Dumont World Series in their respective age groups.
The 13s World Series will be located in Pratt, the 14s is in Chickasha, Okla. while Pittsburg will host the 15s World Series.
