Bruce Ray Page

Bruce Ray Page, 65, of Frontenac, died at 10:28 p.m., Friday, July 8, 2022, at his daughter’s residence in rural Girard.

Bruce was born July 30, 1956, in Fort Scott, a son of William and Hester (Buckingham) Page.  Bruce grew up in Arcadia and graduated from Arma High School.

He married Brenda Ekis in August of 1978, and they divorced.

Bruce worked for the Ford Motor Company while living in Kansas City.  He returned to this area and worked in a coal mine before driving trucks for Derailed Commodity in Brazilton, American Concrete in Pittsburg, and DeLange Seed in Girard.

Bruce enjoyed his family, friends, woodworking, leatherworking, helping his friends with farming, and was a member of several motorcycle clubs.

Survivors include his daughter, Alicia Page and Matt Jones of Girard; his grandchildren, Dylan Page, Kolton Marn, Colin Page, Jaelynn Page, Alexis Page, Ashlyn Jones, Makayla Jones, and Aaron Jones; his sisters, Joyce Wilson of Nixa, Missouri, Shelia Hale of Kearney, Missouri, Patricia Porcalla on Reno, Nevada; his brothers, William Jerry Page of Catawissa, Missouri, Richard Page of Republic, Missouri, and Ronald Page of Wichita.

Bruce was preceded in death by his son, Joshua Page, on April 10, 2017; his parents; his sisters, Norma McCarty and Madeline McArthur.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date and burial will be in the Sheffield Cemetery near Arcadia.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Smith-Carson-Wall Funeral Home in Girard.
