PITTSBURG, Kan. — After getting your fill of ghosts, goblins and, of course, candy, Pittsburg community members are invited to participate in the Hispanic cultural event of Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead.
This joyous and colorful celebration will kick off from 3 to 4 p.m. at Root Coffeehouse, 402 N. Broadway, where attendees can purchase Abuelita, a form of hot chocolate, and view the ofrenda and art made by children in the English as a Second Language program in Pittsburg Community Schools.
