Mr. Peyton’s claim that he is “not making fun” of trans people is not enough to make it true. “What if I identified as [x]” is such a cliche that in trans circles, it’s known as “the one joke” and nobody is fooled that he doesn’t think it’s funny or denigrating to make this case.
