The St. Paul girls' basketball team is on the hunt for the championship game again this year.  This years team consists of five returning starters and four newcomers.  The roster for this year is made up of Seniors Jessica Tuck, Kennedee Borum, Allison O'Brien; Juniors Erin Tuck, Morgan Westoff; Sophomore Bethany Beachner; Freshmen Bethany Paulie, Kira Carlson, Kacy Phillips, Nikki Sears.      Head coach, Doug Tuck, says that this year's team is one of his best skilled teams in a while, but says that the stamina is not there yet to support the skill.
When asked what the goals for the team were this season, Mr. Tuck responded, saying “I would like to see the team improve and get better each week.” The Lady Indians' first game was on Friday, December 4th, and their first tournament will be December 7th - 11th at Welch Oklahoma.
A couple of the senior girls had a few comments to make about the upcoming season. When asked how is practice going thus far, Allison O'Brien and Jessica Tuck both said that it is fun and has been a good time but a lot of work.  Allison says that her personal goals for the season are to rebound more and average more than ten points a game and Jessica says that she would like to get in the passing lane more, have more steals, and average seventeen points a game.
