On the first Tuesday of the April, twenty-one kindergartners brightened the day for Prairie Mission Retirement Village residents. Mrs. Brennan, the kindergarten teacher for St. Paul Elementary School, brought her class to PMRV. They went to hunt Easter eggs for the residents. The eggs were hidden up and down the halls. After the eggs and candy was all gathered, everyone met in the center to admire their goodies. Songs were led by Mrs. Grosdidier and the kids socialized with the residents. When asked about what happened, Jaycee Franklin, 6, said that singing songs was her favorite thing. Nikki Newberry, 6, recalled that she had shared her candy with some of the residents. Harmony Thornton, 6, remembered singing Easter songs to the residents. It sounds like the kindergartners had as much fun as the residents did!
