St. Paul Middle School has been awarded a Certificate of Merit as part of the 10th Annual Challenge Awards. This award recognizes schools for outstanding achievement and uncommon accomplishment basted on the Kansas Assessment results from 2012 and other qualifying factors, specifically the sample size, ethnicity, and socio-economic status of those taking the test. St. Paul Middle School has been honored as a result of its performance on the 8th Reading assessment

The Certificate of Merit Challenge Award will be presented and recognized November 14, at Junction City. The Confidence in Kansas Public Education Task Force sponsors the Challenge Awards.

St. Paul Middle School also met the building-wide Standard of Excellence in Reading and Math. The Elementary met building-wide Standard of Excellence in Math.

This is an accomplishment for students and staff for maintaining high expectations for all students to exceed with the challenges students and schools face on a daily basis for a quality education.
