Six freshmen round out the team with Jake O'Brien, Anthony Diskin, Riley O'Brien, Brayden Beachner, Paul Schibi and Lucas O'Brien playing. The Indians are coached by Mr. Brian Carlson, a math teacher at St. Paul High. The assistant coach is Mr. Frank Cheney, junior high science teacher.
The season opened with the first practice on Tuesday, November 16th at 6:00 A.M. Homecoming will be January 15th and Senior Parents' Night will be February 16th. The Indians first game was Friday, December 6th, against Frontenac.
Mr. Carlson said, “We need to avoid injuries and work hard, I hope to make it to Substate this year and I believe the team has the talent to do so.” All of this adds up to a great basketball team and , hopefully, a successful season.
