The St. Paul Lady Indians volleyball team is doing well this year. They have had many games and several tournaments, but their league games began on Tuesday, October 29. Only having five games so far, their league record is 4-1.
Head Coach Paula Jacquinot says, “Goals for the season are to build teamwork, trust, unity, and a sub-state championship would be nice, too.”
This year the Lady Indians have eight more girls out for volleyball then they did last year. Coach Jacquinot thinks it is nice this year having so many upperclassman to help lead the team. The upperclassman are also able to communicate to the freshman ways to be successful in the volleyball program.
Many strengths that the team has this year are leadership, communication, upperclassman, and experience.
When asked how the season was going Coach Jacquinot said, “It could be going better, but I do see improvement and potential.”
