As leaves changed colors and fall began, first graders at RVH learned about autumn and Halloween.

Athletes connect with RVH students

Every Friday during the 2009 fall sports season, senior and junior athletes from GHS went to RVH to talk to and interact with the younger students.

Girard bands rate in PSU marching band competition

The GHS and GMS bands participated in the annual PSU Homecoming marching band competition on Oct. 24 in Pittsburg.

Students and teachers at Haderlein Elementary celebrated Halloween with a parade around the school on Oct. 30.

Project Care Drive

GMS students are collecting canned goods, nonperishable food products, and monetary donations from Nov. 10-24 for their annual Project Care Drive, a charity event conducted for the Girard Ministerial Alliance which distributes proceeds to families during the holidays.

Girard Middle School students embarked on the second nine weeks with a variety of academic activities in reading, science, writing, social studies, technology, and music.
