During library time in a group setting, third-grader Broc Scales reads “The Five Chinese Brothers” to RVH preschool students Wednesday, April 24. Third-graders also regularly pair up individually with preschool students and read to them to help facilitate their interest in reading.

Five forensics students competed at the State Festival for one-act plays in “The Grip of Fate” and earned a 1 rating for their performance.
Eighty-six Girard High School seniors participated in mock interviews Wednesday, April 17, in the high school gym.
The annual Kayette Mother-Daughter Tea took place Wednesday, April 24, at GHS. Ceremonies began at 1 p.m. in Shireman Auditorium and lasted until 3 p.m.
