“The season has been pretty wonderful. The students work really well together and great as a team. It’s really been a great season!” said cosponsor Carolyn Allmond.
Regarding all of the victories, cosponsor Angela Kunshek said, “Mrs. Allmond and I have been so thrilled with the team’s performance this season. Individually, these players have their own strengths and expertise. When they come together as a team, they are capable of great success. Of course, in a Scholars Bowl meet many factors come into play, so it doesn’t hurt to have luck on our side!”
Girard will host the Class 4A Regional Scholars Bowl on Feb. 4, and the top three teams there will qualify for the Class 4A State Scholars Bowl in Topeka Feb. 13.
