GHS students to present plays

Girard High School will present “An Evening of Ten-Minute Plays” in Shireman Auditorium Feb. 22-24.
The plays will be presented Friday, Feb. 22, and Saturday, Feb. 23, at 8 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 24, at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $3 for adults and $2 for students and will be available for purchase at the door.

The performance will be split up into two acts, each including several different ten-minute plays.

In Act I, the cast will perform “Oh, Chad,” “Liver For Breakfast” and “Juice Box” by Lindsey Price and “Pay Phone” by Bradley Hayward.

Act II will include performances of “Walls,” “You” and “Slow Songs Make Me Puke” by Lindsey Price.
This year’s play cast includes Max Adams, Heather Armstrong, Thomas Ashcraft, Josh Brandell, Madison Denham, Graham Dixon, Trisha Elder, Taylor Evans, Micheala Everitt, Madison Hey, Ashley Horton, Alex Hughes, Breanna Hyman, Jonathan Kroenke, Cole Lara, Amanda Longpine, Amber Morris, Kaitlan Palmer, Leah Rogers, Alicia Vandenberg, Whitney West and Autumn Woolems.
GHS drama instructor Terry Wunder directs this group.

“Ten minute plays are fun to do. If you don’t like one, just wait ten minutes, and we’ll show you another one,” Mr. Wunder said.
