Hawaiian surfer Garrett McNamara may have broken the world record by riding a 100-foot wave, according to The Guardian.
McNamara, born in Massachusetts, but raised on Hawaii's North Shore, caught a 100-foot wave off the coast of Nazaré, Portugal. McNamara set the previous record of 90 ft. back in 2011, also off the coast of Nazaré.
The claims have not yet been verified, but you can watch his record-setting ride here.
