A trio of Pitt State men’s track & field athletes scored victories Friday at the MSSU Bill Williams Invitational.

Alex Kuhlman claimed victory in the triple jump with a mark of 47 feet, 1.5 inches to help pace the Gorillas’ efforts.

Travis Lee won the javelin throw with a 180-2 mark, and Zach Simpson won the 400-meter hurdles in a time of 54.12 seconds.

Brad Jochems placed second in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 10:04.59, while Brett Siegle finished second in the triple jump (46-11.5) and Eric Wells placed second in the javelin (174-8).

At the Drake Relays, the 400-meter relay team of Gregory Wright, Kendall Davis, Alex Talbott and Darius Johnson turned in a time of 42.06 seconds.

The 1,600-meter relay squad of Antonio Dowdy, Anthony Garrett, Wright and Johnson logged a time of 3:16.68 in the event.
