Southeast and Girard high school baseball teams split a pair of games Monday in Girard.
The Trojans won game one, 6-1.  The Lancers rebounded in the nightcap, winning 10-5.
Nick George picked up the win on the mound for Girard in the early game, as Southeast pitcher Dalton Powell took the loss.
Jeremy Grosstephen hit a double and a single for Girard and Zack Foraker knocked in a triple. Reid Murphy and Logan Cherry both hit two singles for the Trojans in game one.
Southeast led 6-0 after two innings in game two, and held its lead for the duration. Jason Reed earned the win at pitcher, as Foraker took the loss for Girard.
Southeast’s Daniel Peak and Cody Rakestraw both hit for doubles, while Jake Thompson hit a double and single. Powell hit two singles.
For Girard, Murphy hit two singles, while Gavin Snyder hit a double.
Southeast (4-8, 3-7 CNC) plays at Frontenac Thursday. Girard will be at home against St. Mary’s Colgan.
