    Sunrise Rotary


    Pittsburg Sunrise Rotary Club will meet at 7  a.m. in dePaul Hall, Via Christi Hospital.

    Sunrise Rotary
    Pittsburg Sunrise Rotary Club will meet at 7  a.m. in dePaul Hall, Via Christi Hospital.
    Rotarian of the day will be Serif Uran. Tim Tompkins will serve as greeter. Cathy White will give the invocation, with Vonnie Corsini giving the vocational speech. Andrea Linder will serve as sergeant at arms.
    Frontenac Rotary
    Frontenac Rotary Club will meet  at noon at Sacred Heart Catholic Churcvh. Program will be presented by Chad Ulepich, Frontenac High School athletic director.
    Carl Ulepich will be Rotarian of the Day and Dennis Lynn will be greeter. Serving as sergeant at arms will be Paul Mendicki.
    Bingo
    Medicalodge will host free bingo at 1 p.m. at the Homer Cole Community Center. Anyone needing additional information may call the center at 231-9773.
    Cruisin’ Crooners
    The Cruisin’ Crooners will provide music for listening and dancing at 6 p.m. every Wednesday in April at the Frontenac Senior Citizens Center.
    Featured will be guest singer/songwriter Dee McCall and several other singers from southwest Missouri.
    All are welcome, and there is no charge to attend.
    Chicopee card games
    Card games will be played from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. every Wednesday, except holidays, at the Chicopee Community Center.
    All card games are welcome. Bridge players do not need to bring a partner, since the game is set up so that everyone plays, even when there is an odd number of players.
    Weight Watchers
    Weight Watchers will meet every Wednesday at the Homer Cole Community Center. Weigh-in starts at 5 p.m., followed by the meeting at 5:30 p.m.
    Saturday, April 20
    Postmaster reception
    CHEROKEE — Cherokee Postmaster Rose Burns is retiring after 22 years of service. A reception will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Cherokee Senior Citizens Building.
    All her Cherokee customers and friends may come by to wish her a happy retirement.
