Other students who competed include Aubri Ashbacher, Thalia Baeza, Elizabeth Crumpacker, Taylor Evans, Carly Heatherly, Hadyn Herlocker, Katy Pitts, Jaxon Pryer, Madison Smith and Sara Wiens.
Regarding the event, GHS art teacher Nicole Meyer-Foresman said, “It was our first year at the ICC competition. The best part was the judges’ comments. There was an oral critique at the end which was good for the students to hear.”
GHS business instructor Kelly Burnick added, “Competing at the ICC High School Competition Day was a great way for Girard students to compete in all subject areas with other high school students. I challenge more students and teachers to get involved next year, and let’s fill a bus for this competition.”
