Twelve area high school basketball players have been selected to play in the Apr. 28 exhibition game against the KU Barnstormers at Fort Scott High School.
Crawford County selections include Hadyn Herlocker of Girard, Tanner Ellis and Lizzy Willis of Pittsburg, and Blake Barto and Amanda Cicero of Frontenac.
The other seven are Johnathan Stark and Hannah Tourtillott of Fort Scott, Silas Smith of Nevada (Mo.), Austin Coleman and Baylea White of Jayhawk-Linn, and Brenton Esslinger and Hayden Rathbun of Uniontown.

The Barnstormers feature players like Elijah Johnson, Travis Releford, Jeff Withey and Kevin Young.
Senior center Withey recently earned a third-team nod on the Associated Press All-America Team and he shared NABC Co-Defensive Player of the Year honors with Indiana junior guard Victor Oladipo. Withey ranked second in the nation this past season with 3.95 blocked shots per game, averages both school and conference records.
Releford, a Bishop Miege alum, finished third on Kansas in scoring this season at 11.9 points per game and led the 'Hawks with 47 steals.
Johnson averaged 9.9 points, 3.1 rebounds and 4.6 assists. He scored a season-high 39 in a 108-96 overtime win over Iowa State.
