  • LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Gas seems to increase at holidays

  • Dear editor,

I just have one short question/statement for you and your readers. How does OPEC know when our students at PSU start for home when school is out or for the holidays so gas has to go from $3.12 to $3.98 in two days?

  • Dear editor,
I just have one short question/statement for you and your readers. How does OPEC know when our students at PSU start for home when school is out or for the holidays so gas has to go from $3.12 to $3.98 in two days? Somehow I don’t think they know or even care. It seems to me that the more gas that is used the price should be going down not up? “Supply and demand” and all that. I just feel that we are being taken advantage of. You can set your watch by the gas prices in this town and know that they will go up just before excessive travel for holidays or University migration. Get ready for the Fourth of July.
    Respectfully,
    Liz Harry
