Pittsburg Family YMCA will have its 125th anniversary celebration and dinner at 6:30 p.m. April 11 in Pittsburg Memorial Auditorium.

“A highlight of the evening will be the presentation of 10 individuals into the Pittsburg YMCA’s Hall of Fame,” said Jack Bache, executive director.

Guest speaker will be Bobby Bell, two-time All-American tackle from Minnesota and the first Kansas City Chief to be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Dr. Shane Kannarr, YMCA president, will give an update on  YMCA operations and programs. Joe Hart will be master of ceremonies. Doug Kreighbaum of Covenant Harvest Church will give the invocation, and Ron Rhodes will give the benediction.

The dinner will be open to the public. Cost will be $5 for adults and $3 for children. Reservations may be made by calling the YMCA at 231-1100.
