Dear Editor,
Now the hard work begins. Getting the whole nation on board this train is not going to be easy. The way it is going now is like a pigpen full of fat hogs, all trying to get a hand out from those who are feeding them.  State governors are standing in the wings with their hands out for a piece of the pie and I don’t think there is any pie left. To my way of thinking there is a way to make this a lot easier for the country. Those fat cats that live in their ivory towers should get no pay until this is settle. Most of them already have enough wealth to last them for the rest of their lives. Another step would be for the Union workers to take a cut in there pay to help save their own jobs. And those of their fellow workers. The people of this country  should ask their congressman or woman to serve a term or two without any pay. That action alone would save a billion or two in the cost of running our government. Right now the ratings, of congress, are so low they are on the same eye level with the snakes that slither along on the ground. This crisis is going to require a lot of belt tightening before it is over. And that is going to take a while even with a lot of hard work from everyone. We need to go to god on bended knees and ask him for the strength and courage to see us through this mess. God help us all.
