The snow caused many accidents in the last few days, but Monday afternoon the weather sent one person to a local hospital.
About 3:30 p.m., Robert Munden, 68, Pittsburg, was driving east on Fourth Street and was turning north onto Canterbury. His truck stalled in the middle of the road because of the ice.
Jeffrey Rowley, 17, Pittsburg, whose vehicle was westbound on Fourth Street, applied his brakes but his vehicle did not stop in time because of the ice. Munden was injured and taken to Mt. Carmel Regional Medical Center.
