    Sunflower Kiwanis
    Members of the Sunflower Kiwanis Club will meet for breakfast at 6:45 a.m. in dePaul Hall, Via Christi Hospital.
    President Lindy Lawson will open the business session with the Kiwanis Defining Statement. The approaching flag distribution for Memorial Day will be discussed.
    Club member Juanita Jopp has scheduled Mark Stewart, Via Christi Hospital chaplain, to speak on his role at the hospital.
    Veterans representative
    A veterans representative will be at the Homer Cole Community Center from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Anyone with questions concerning veterans affairs may speak with the representative.
    Those needing additional information may call the center at 231-9773.
    Rotary Club
    Pittsburg Rotary Club will meet at noon in dePaul Hall, Via Christi Hospital. Program will be a tour of Miller’s Professional Imaging, 610 E. Jefferson.
    Tom Sims will give the invocation, and Jon Bartlow will serve as song leader. Joe Dellasega will have introductions, and sergeant at arms will be Bobby Winters.
    Senior dance
    A senior dance will be held at the Homer Cole Community Center. Area musicians will provide the music.
    There is a $1 fee to attend, and those attending are asked to bring a finger food or potluck. The center will provide coffee and punch. Anyone needing additional information may call 231-9773.
    Lions board
    Pittsburg Lions Club will have a board meeeting at 6 p.m. in the Sheridan Room, Via Christi Hospital. President Susan Faucett will preside.
    Chapter CP, PEO
    Chapter CP, PEO, will have a luncheon meeting at 10 a.m. at the home of Carol Gorenc. Melva Wilbert and Janie Kelly will be assisting hostesses.
    Bienvenido “Dean” Cortes will present the program on “Business Education in Iraq,” sharing information and his experiences from his visit to Iraq in the summer of 2012.
    Chapter AQ, PEO
    Chapter AQ, PEO, will meet at the home of Susan Cason with Becky Sloan, Marty Beezley and Lori Ann Spachek as hostesses.
    The program on “City of Pittsburg Happenings” will be brought by Marty Beezley.
    Chapter IO, PEO
    Chapter IO, PEO, will meet at 6 p.m. at the Crestwood Country Club for a chapter birthday party. Hostesses will be Kay Holsinger and Ellen Cobb.
    Chapter CJ, PEO
    Chapter CJ, PEO, will meet at 7 p.m. at 1513 Woodland Terrace with Amanda Minton as hostess. Co-hostesses will be Loren Werner, Lori Wilks and Sandy Overman-Haile.
    Mark Werner will give the program on “Identity Theft,” and project reports will be given.
    Elks bingo
    Page 2 of 2 - Pittsburg Elks Lodge will host bingo night, open to the public. Mini games start at 6 p.m., followed by regular games at 6:30 p.m.
    Concessions will be available for the public.
    ARMA — The ARMA TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) Chapter meets at 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays.
    Chapter meetings include private weigh-in, information on good nutrition, educational programs and moral support and encouragement to help members reach their weight loss goals.

    Arma bingo
    ARMA — Arma American Legion will have bingo night, starting with early bird games at 6:30 p.m. Regular games will follow immediately after the early bird games.
