Anyone born after July 1, 1957 must complete a 10 hour course in Hunter Education before purchasing a license in Kansas. One spring class is being offered in Pittsburg.


Class dates are Tuesday,Thursday, and Saturday, March 24, 26, and 28th. Must attend all three days.


Times are 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. weekdays, and 8 a.m. - noon on Saturday.


Place of classes will be Room S102, at Kansas Technology Center near intersection of Rouse and Ford, PSU Campus, in Pittsburg.


No pre-registration is necessary or cost.


Books are provided.

You must be 11 years of age or older to be certified. Youth 15 years of age and younger can now hunt without certification, provided they hunt under the direct supervision of an adult, 18 years of age or older.


Parents are encouraged to attend. All children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
