William D. “Bill” Snow, 51 of Shawnee KS, formerly of Pittsburg, KS died Sunday, August 23, 2009 at University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas.

William D. “Bill” Snow, 51 of Shawnee KS, formerly of Pittsburg, KS died Sunday, August 23, 2009 at University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas.
Bill was born November 27, 1957 in Pittsburg, KS to William F. and Goldia M. (Purdy) Snow. He attended area schools, graduating from high school with the class of 1975. He went on to attend and graduate from PSU Vo-Tech program.
On June 13, 1981, in Pittsburg, KS, he married Val Tierney. She survives of the home. Bill worked as a draftsman / cad designer for Marley Cooling Tower Co, known today as SPX. He has worked there since 1977.
Bill loved sports, fishing and golf. He was an avid KC Chiefs and KC Royals fan. In early years he was active coaching and watching his girls’ softball games. His family has always been very important to him. 
Additional survivors include his daughters Amanda Snow of Overland Park, KS and Ashley Snow of Pittsburg, KS; sisters Karen Garrison of Tulsa, OK and Debra Yocum of Frontenac, KS and father William F. and his wife Betty Snow of Carl Junction, MO, along with a host of nieces and nephews.
Bill was preceded in death by his mother.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, August 27, 2009 at Bath-Naylor Funeral Home with Fr. Thomas Stroot officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Park Cemetery in Pittsburg, KS. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Wednesday at the funeral home. The casket will remain closed. Friends may call the funeral home after 4pm on Wednesday.
