Virginia Lee Sinkovic, 86, of Bethesda, Maryland, formerly of Frontenac, died at 8:30 p.m. Monday, October 17, 2011 at Sunrise at Countryside Assisted Living at Sterling, Virginia.

Virginia Lee Sinkovic, 86, of Bethesda, Maryland, formerly of Frontenac, died at 8:30 p.m. Monday, October 17, 2011 at Sunrise at Countryside Assisted Living at Sterling, Virginia.

Mrs. Sinkovic was born January 30, 1925 at Frontenac, Kansas the daughter of Joseph and Frances Bedene Terlip. Virginia was a homemaker and worked in payroll for Sears in Bethesda. She was raised in Frontenac and graduated from Frontenac High School.
She moved to Bethesda, Maryland in 1961. She was a member of the Bethesda Presbyterian Church and the Womens Club in Bethesda, Maryland. Survivors include a daughter, Frances Soroka and her husband Joel of Aspen, Colorado; two sons, James Sinkovic and his wife Jeanne of Herndon, Virginia, and David Sinkovic of Bethesda, Maryland; a sister, Zelda Pinamonti of Frontenac; six grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Charles Terlip.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 29, 2011 at the Bedene Funeral Home at Arma with the Rev. Steve Cole officiating. Burial will be at the Pittsburg Garden of Memories Cemetary. The casket will remain closed. Arrangements are under the direction of the Bedene Funeral Home, 517 E. Washington, Box 621, Arma, Kansas 66712.
