Dear editor:
The day the Democrats took over was not January 22nd 2009 it was actually January 3rd 2007 the day the Democrats took over the House of Representatives and the Senate, the start of the 110th Congress.

For those who blame the “Bush Administration”:

January 3rd, 2007 was the day the Democrats took over the Senate and the Congress:
At the time:

1.    The DOW Jones closed at 12,621.77; 4th Qtr 2006 GDP was 3.5%; Unemployment was 4.6% and A RECORD of 52 STRAIGHT MONTHS of JOB CREATION!

2.    January 3rd, 2007 was THE day that Barney Frank took over the House Financial Services Committee and Chris Dodd took over the Senate Banking Committee.

3.    The economic meltdown that happened 15 months later was in what part of the economy? BANKING AND FINANCIAL SERVICES!

Bush asked Congress 17 TIMES to stop Fannie & Freddie — starting in 2001.

Did you know that during the Bush administration, Rahm Emmanuel was on the board of Freddie Mac? His qualifications? He was a ballet dancer and politician! ALSO, Valerie Jarrett was on the board of the Federal Reserve in Chicago... DURING the Bush Administration. Her qualifications? She was a slumlord and political crony of Mayor Daley.

Also, don’t forget all the “conservative” Democrats who campaigned one way in 2008 and voted another. We got Obamacare shoved down our throats on Christmas Eve!! What a dastardly Christmas present!!! Instead of encouraging prosperity and jobs, this Congress was intentionally taking advantage of our dire situation to clamp control on our freedom. Why would anyone forget the treachery??
