A 16-year-old Pittsburg male was arrested Sunday for his alleged involement in the shooting of another local teenager.

At around 6:22 a.m. Sunday, Pittsburg police officers were dispatched to 1020 E. 6th St. in reference to a report of a 17-year-old male being shot with a firearm.

The extent of any injuries suffered is yet unknown, as police have not yet released any other details. More information is expected to be released Monday, according Maj. Brent Narges.
