  • Judyth A. Martin, 70 of Opolis, KS died at 6:15 am Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at the Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg following a long illness.

  • Judyth A. Martin, 70 of Opolis, KS died at 6:15 am Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at the Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg following a long illness.
    She was born September 12, 1942 in Pittsburg the daughter of Arley and Gladys (Cooseman) Schooley.  She attended area schools and graduated from the Cherokee High School with the Class of 1960.
    On July 11, 1960 she was united in marriage to L. Dan Martin in Opolis; he survives her of the home.
    Judy was a homemaker and farm wife.  She was a member of the Opolis Christian Bible Church.
    Additional survivors include a daughter Angie Sarley and husband Mike; a daughter-in-law Patty Martin; grandchildren Mic Humble and Trisha, Zac Sarley and Sarah, Andrew Sarley, Sam Sarley, Dan Martin and Erin, Jenny Martin and Scott Martin.
    She was preceded in death by her son Gregg Martin, parents, two brothers: Gerald and Jimmy Schooley.
    Visitation service will be from 6-8 pm, Thursday, May 9, 2013 at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home.  Private family services will take place at a later date.  Condolences may be left at http://www.bathnaylor.com/.  Memorials may be made to the Crawford County 4-H, these may be left at or mailed to the funeral home.   Services by Bath-Naylor Funeral Home 522 S.
