Thomas Edward Craddock, 56 of McCune, Kansas formerly of Weir, Kansas, joined his twin brother in heaven on Tuesday March 26, 2013. He had been in ill health for the last few years.
Thomas Edward Craddock, 56 of McCune, Kansas formerly of Weir, Kansas, joined his twin brother in heaven on Tuesday March 26, 2013. He had been in ill health for the last few years. Born on April 24, 1956 in Bad Herzfeld, Germany to Gary and Gertrude (Low) Craddock, they both survive in Weir, Kansas. He came to the United States when he was two years old. He graduated from Maryland High School in 1974. He also attended Southeast High School, Cherokee, Kansas. Tom married Brenda Turner on June 23, 1978, in Miami, OK. They had three children together, Dustee Harrison (Scott), McCune, Kansas, Janna Baker (Darrell), Altamont, Kansas and Brandon Craddock (Megan), Girard, Kansas. They later divorced in 2003. In July 2004 Tom married Mary Craddock, she survives of the home. Tom worked at Kretschmar, Pittsburg, Kansas where he was a Union Steward for ten years. He also worked at Parsons Plant, Parsons, Kansas and Masonite, Pittsburg, Kansas. Tom had ten grandchildren. Jalen and Hartly Merrell, Kaden Harrison, Dylan and Devin Wisdom, Josey Baker, and April, Thomas, Brenna and Madilyn Craddock. Tom enjoyed his life here on this earth. He was a man that loved to have a good time, whether it was singing , or just being around friends. Tom's motto was "You only live once". Additional survivors Mary Pline, (Lebanon , Mo) and Melissa McDonough, (Charleston, SC). Tom was proceeded in death by his twin brother Robert Craddock, and his in laws Charles and Janice Turner. According to his wishes he has been cremated and his final resting place will be beside his brother at Hosey Hill Cemetery, Weir, Kansas. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday March 30, 2013 at 2 pm at the Weir Civic Center, Main St, Weir, Kansas. In lieu of flowers family suggest donations to help with final expenses.
