    Holy Week services


    Holy Week services, presented by the Pittsburg Ministerial Association, will be held from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the First Christian Church. Theme will be “The Seven Last Words of Christ.”

    Holy Week services
    Holy Week services, presented by the Pittsburg Ministerial Association, will be held from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the First Christian Church. Theme will be “The Seven Last Words of Christ.”
    Speaker will be Deacon Martin Dickinson of All Saints Anglican Church. A lunch of sandwiches, salad, cookies and beverages will be provided.
    There is no charge to attend, but donations of money and non-perishable food items will be accepted.
    Good Friday services
    Stations of the Cross will be followed at 12:10 p.m. at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church.
    Worship services for Good Friday will begin at 7 p.m.
    Art presentations
    “Ten Stories,” Pittsburg State University art senior presentations, will be given from 3 to 8 p.m. in room 409, Russ Hall.
    Each graduating art senior will have a 20-minute presentation of his or her past, present and upcoming artwork. All interested persons may attend any or all of the presentations.
    Graduates participating will be as follows: Zachary Stoppel, commercial art major, “Pollock and the Hero’s Journey”; Matt Graham, painting, “The Emergence Chronicles”; Janelle Kranker, commercial art, “Let Me Create Something for You”; S. Marie Anderson, commercial art, “Postcard Impressions”; C. Tyler Gee, “Daydreaming the Night  Away”; Rachel Jordan, commercial art, “RJ the Artist: A title you can’t take away”; Alana Rose, painting, “The Long and Short of  It”; Regan A. Krebs, painting, “Nebulous Nimbiferous”; Kelsey Harshman, commercial art, “Hallow  Art”; and Carol Longman, photography, “Perspectives on Unexpected Questions.”
    Big Brutus  egg hunt
    WEST MINERAL — Annual Easter egg hunt for children 12 and younger will be held at 3:30 p.m. at Big Brutus in West Mineral.
    There will be no charge for the Easter egg hunt, but there is an admission fee for those who want to tour Big Brutus.
