On Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at 6:26 p.m., officers responded to the 100 block of E. Park St. in reference to a male and female breaking into a vehicle parked on the street. Officers arrived and spoke with the witness who indicated the couple smashed the passenger side window with a rock, reached into the vehicle and stole a purse.

On Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at 6:26 p.m., officers responded to the 100 block of E. Park St. in reference to a male and female breaking into a vehicle parked on the street. Officers arrived and spoke with the witness who indicated the couple smashed the passenger side window with a rock, reached into the vehicle and stole a purse.

Officers located the couple a short distance from the crime scene where they had thrown the purse under another vehicle. Jered Oliver Johnson, age 23 of Cherokee, and Natalie Elaine Fuller-Rose, age 40 of Pittsburg, were arrested and booked into the Crawford County Jail on three charges: Burglary to a vehicle, theft from a vehicle and criminal damage.
Mr. Oliver was found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and booked in with these additional charges.
