  • A Girard resident was arrested after a search of his home found two methamphetamine labs.
    Wednesday, the Southeast Kansas Drug Task Force, Crawford County Drug Task Force and the Kansas Bureau of Investigations searched 414 N. Harmon in Girard, the home of Robert P. Pinamonti, 34.
    Officers found the remains of two meth labs and the precursors to the production of meth.
    Pinamonti has been charged with possession of opiates, unlawful manufacturing of a controlled substance, felony possession of paraphernalia for cultivating, distributing or manufacturing a controlled substance, possession of pseudoephedrine as a precursor of an illegal substance and possession of marijuana.
    He is being held on $108,000 bond.
