Philip Tom “Tom” Barbieri, 67, born on July 10, 1943, in Arma, Kansas, to Philip Barbieri and Mary Fernetti Barbieri, passed away in Brandon, Fla., on Sunday, December 26, 2010. Tom served his country, as a young man, in the U.S. Air Force in Vietnam. He later received a B.S. in Business Administration from Pittsburg State University.

Tom was predeceased by his parents, nephew John David Barbieri, and brother-in-law Jerry James.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Brenda (Saia); two daughters, Kyra Murphy (Michael) and Krysan Davis (Corey); a son, Kyle (Amanda); a brother, Sam Barbieri (Joan); a brother-in-law, Tom Saia; sisters-in-law, Barbara James and Kathy Perkins (Ron); seven grandchildren, Jaedyn, Kylan, Jackson, Kendall, Mason, Karys, and Makenna; and six nieces and nephews.

A visitation was held Wednesday at Stowers Funeral Home in Brandon, and a funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 30, 2010, at Nativity Catholic Church in Brandon.
