Agnes Elizabeth “Toots” Bartelli, 99 of Rogers, AR formerly of Frontenac died at 5:35 pm, December 29, 2010 in Rogers.

She was born February 1, 1911 in Frontenac, Kansas to John and Lana Haderlein Krusich.

She lived in Frontenac and attended Sacred Heart School.  She married Joseph F. Bartelli on February 27, 1935 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Frontenac.  She moved with her husband Joseph F. Bartelli to Rogers, AR in 1996. They were married 63 years.

Mrs. Bartelli owned and operated Joe Bartelli’s Restaurant along with her husband located on North Broadway in Pittsburg, Kansas for 25 years, retiring in 1959.  She was a member of St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church of Rogers and a former member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Frontenac.  She belonged to the Sacred Heart Altar Society in Frontenac until she moved to Arkansas.  She also belonged to Mother Seton Altar Society in Frontenac until she moved to Arkansas.  She belonged to Mother Seton Altar Society at Saint Vincent De Paul Church of Rogers, Arkansas.

Survivors include two sons: Joseph and wife Dorothea Bartelli of Rogers, Arkansas, Kenny and wife Judy Bartelli of Beaumont, Texas; four granddaughters; six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews; one sister Ann Grant of Frontenac, Kansas.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Bartelli, two brothers, George and Frances (Bud) Krusich, and two sisters, Mary Bulot and Margaret Morosine.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:30 pm Monday, January 3rd, 2011 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Fr. Robert Spencer as Celebrant.  Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.  Parish rosary will be recited at 7 pm Sunday at the Friskel Funeral Home in Frontenac.  Family will receive friends following the rosary.  Friends may call at the funeral home after 12 noon on Sunday.  Condolences may be left at www.friskelfuneralhome.com.  Services and arrangements are under the direction of the Friskel Funeral Home 230 E.
