Area arrests for July 25-29

Arrests at Crawford County Jail July 25:
• Ronald Eugene Dunlap, 41, Pittsburg, was booked at 8:16 p.m. on a warrant for failure to appear. Dunlap was held on a $500.00 bond and released at 8:37 p.m. and arrested by Pittsburg police department.
• Tracy Scott Pinckney Jr., 19, Pittsburg, was booked at 5:34 a.m. on theft — greater than $1,000.00 but not more than $25,000.00, and burglary; building not used as a dwelling. Pinckney was held on a $10,500.00 bond and released at 12:26 a.m. and arrested by Pittsburg police department.
• Bryan Daniel Roberts, 34, Pittsburg, was booked at 6:08 a.m. on a warrant for holding for another County or State, theft — more than $1,000.00 but not greater than $25,000.00, and burglary; building not used as a dwelling. Roberts was held on a $10,500.00 bond and arrested by Pittsburg police department.

Arrest at Southeast Kansas Regional Correction Center July 25:
• Rebeca Kellum Hartman, 35, Ft. Scott, was arrested by Ft. Scott police department at 3:15 p.m. for liability insurance required. Hartman was held on a $500.00 bond and released at 3:55 p.m.

Arrests at Crawford County Jail July 26:
• Crystal Dawn Burchell, 27, Parsons, was booked at 5:48 p.m. for driving while suspended — first offense, possession of drug paraphernalia — misdemeanor, possession of marijuana, depressants, stimulants — first offense. Burchell was held on a $2,500.00 bond and arrested by Kansas Highway Patrol.
• Justin Cody Busse, 28, Arcadia, was booked at 9:14 a.m. for serving time. Busse was held without bond and arrested by Kansas Highway Patrol.
• Ashley Marie Loyd, 20, Pittsburg, was booked at 7:53 p.m. on a warrant for giving a worthless check — loss greater than $500.00. Loyd was held on a $500.00 bond and arrested by Pittsburg police department.
• Tyler Lee Waits, 27, Pittsburg, was booked at 4:54 a.m. for criminal threat — two counts. Waits was held on a $6,000.00 bond and arrested by Pittsburg police department.
• Gregory Alan Zimmerman, 44, Arma, was booked at 6:48 p.m. on two warrants for holding for another County or State. Zimmerman was held without bond and arrested by Arma police department.

Arrests at Southeast Kansas Regional Correction Center July 26:
• Shannon Rose Hall, 23, Ft. Scott, was arrested by Kansas Highway Patrol at 2:51 a.m. for driving under influence. Hall was held on a $500.00 bond and released at 3:39 a.m.
• Arturo Ortga Marin, 37, Ft. Scott, was arrested by Ft. Scott police department at 1:39 a.m. for driving under influence. Marin was held on a $500.00 bond and released at 2:55 a.m.

Arrests at Crawford County Jail July 27:
• Samuel Allen Peak, 26, Mulberry, was booked at 9:04 p.m. on a warrant for giving a worthless check — loss is greater than $500.00. Peak was held on a $1,000.00 bond and arrested by Mulberry police department.
• Mark Alan Thomas, 55, Arma, was booked at 6:02 p.m. for battery — domestic violence, obstruction of legal process in the case of a felony, fleeing/eluding an law enforcement officer — third or subsequent offense, driving under influence — 3rd or subsequent, driving while suspended — third or subsequent, aggravated assault of an law enforcement officer , and warrants for running a traffic light, no valid drivers license, driving under the influence — third or subsequent, and revocation o probation. Thomas was held on a $20,500.00 bond and arrested by Crawford County sheriff’s department.


Arrests at Southeast Kansas Regional Correction Center July 27:
• Candy Sue Gillen, 36, Ft. Scott, was arrested by Kansas Highway Patrol at 3:03 a.m. for driving under influence. Gillen was held on a $500.00 bond and released at 3:59 a.m.
• Daniel Todd Ornstein, 43, Ft. Scott, was arrested by Ft. Scott police department at 3:46 p.m. for driving while suspended, and liability insurance required. Ornstein was held on a $1,000.00 bond and released at 6:52 p.m.
• Logan Miles Secrist, 18, Ft. Scott, was arrested by Ft. Scott police department at 8:14 p.m. on a Bourbon County warrant for making false information, obstructing legal process/official duty, and theft — felony. Secrist is still being held at this time.

Arrests at Crawford County Jail July 28:
• Julie Irene Brashear, 45, Pittsburg, was booked at 5:51 p.m. for serving time. Brashear was held without bond and arrested by Crawford County sheriff’s department.
• Christopher Lee Brooks, 32, Parsons, was booked at 11:22 a.m. on a warrant for aggravated indecent solicitation of child under 14 years of age; enter secluded place, aggravated sodomy— sodomy with a child under 14 years of age; rape — sexual intercourse w/child under 14 years of age; aggravated criminal sodomy — sodomy with a child under 14 years of age; rape — sexual intercourse w/child under 14 years of age; aggravated criminal sodomy — sodomy with a child under 14 years of age. Brooks is being held on a $257,500.00 bond and arrested by Crawford County sheriff’s department.
• Ramos Matias Guerra, 33, Overland Park, was booked at 2:42 p.m. to farm in from another County. Guerra was held without bond and arrested by Crawford County sheriff’s department.
• Anthony Logan, 39, Pittsburg, was booked at 6:16 p.m. on a warrant for revocation of probation. Logan was held on a $750.00 bond and released at 7:17 p.m. and arrested by Pittsburg police department.
• Joshua Wiley Long, 23, Pittsburg, was booked at 8:59 a.m. for serving time. Long was held without bond and arrested by Crawford County sheriff’s department.
• Luis Alfonso Machorro, 31, Kansas City, was booked at 2:20 p.m. to farm in from another County. Machorro was held without bond and arrested by Crawford County sheriff’s department.
• Jason Lee Platner, 33, Ft. Scott, was booked at 3:09 p.m. on a warrant for revocation of probation. Platner, was held without bond and arrested by Crawford County sheriff’s department.
• Bryan James Robinson, 26, Gardner, was booked at 1:53 p.m. to farm in from another County. Robinson was held without bond and arrested by Crawford County sheriff’s department.

Arrests at Southeast Kansas Regional Correction Center July 28:
• Tim Wayne Marrs, 50, Ft. Scott, was arrested by Ft. Scott police department at 9:46 a.m. for aggravated assault, and criminal threat. Marrs is still being held at this time.
• Jason Lee Platner, 33, Ft. Scott, was arrested by Ft. Scott police department at 10:45 a.m. on a Crawford County warrant. Platner was released to Crawford County at 1:00 p.m.

Arrests at Crawford County Jail July 29:
• Kevin Jesse Cawford, 46,  Pittsburg, was booked at 12:41 a.m. for child endangerment — two counts, possession of controlled substance, drugs; opiates/narcotics; sale, intent  within 1000 feet of school, and possession of drug paraphernalia — felony. Crawford was held on a $19,000.00 bond and released at 1:59 p.m. and arrested by Pittsburg police department.
• Mekel Adam Edwards, 34, Pittsburg, was booked at 6:54 p.m. on a warrant for holding for another County or State, failure to appear — two counts, and possession of pseudoephedrine as a precursor to an illegal substance. Edwards was held on a $5,000.00 bond and arrested by Crawford County sheriff’s department.
• Joshua William Fowler, 27, Ft. Scott, was booked at 11:25 p.m. for driving under the influence — first offense. Fowler was held on a $500.00 bond and arrested by Girard police department.
• Ashley Nicole McElwain, 23, Pittsburg, was booked at 12:15 a.m. for battery — domestic violence. McElwain was held on a $500.00 bond and released at 1:14 a.m. and arrested by Pittsburg police department.
• Victor Manuel Rivera-Perez, 41, Pittsburg, was booked at 2:29 p.m. for theft — loss under $1,000.00. Rivera-Perez was held on a $1,000.00 bond and arrested by Pittsburg police department.

Arrests at Southeast Kansas Regional Correction Center July 29:
• Nicholas Dean Claeys, 20, Pittsburg, was arrested by Ft. Scott police department at 4:32 a.m. for driving under the influence, and minor in possession of alcohol. Claeys was held on a $750.00 bond and released at 6:00  a.m.
• Lance Tyler Haley, 19, Ft. Scott, was arrested by Ft. Scott police department at 3:00 p.m. on a Labette County warrant. Haley is still being held at this time.
• Frank William Herford, 84, Ft. Scott, was arrested by Kansas Highway Patrol at 7:56 p.m. for driving under the influence, and transporting open container. Herford is still being held at this time.
