  • The joy and promise of the Easter season will be marked beginning Sunday March 24 at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 306 W. Euclid, Pittsburg. As Holy Week continues with a variety of traditional and contemporary words and music, tenebrae will be observed on  Wednesday, March 27  at  7 p.m.  Maundy Thursday services are set for 7 p.m. March 28.  On Good Friday, March 29, Stations of the Cross will be followed at 12:10 p.m. noon.  Worship services for Good Friday begin at 7 p.m.    The Easter Vigil will be observed with 7 p.m. services  March 30.   Special music during the evening of preparation will include  Christina Bartlow, chanting “Exsultet”.   Services on Easter Day,  Sunday, March 31, will include communion at both  8 a.m. and  10:30 a.m.    Sunday school directed by Victoria Howard prefaces each 10:30 a.m. service.  A coffee hour follows in St Peter’s parlor.
