Pittsburg Community Schools USD 250 breakfast and lunch menus have been announced for the week beginning Aug. 31.
All meals are served with milk. Breakfast menus will be as follows:
MONDAY
Cereal or peanut butter and jelly, Psyedibles cracker, juice.
TUESDAY
Biscuits and gravy or cereal/biscuit, juice.
WEDNESDAY
Soft pretzel or cereal, string cheese, juice.
THURSDAY
Breakfast bagel or cereal/Pop Tart, juice.
FRIDAY
No school.
Lunch menus will be as follows:
MONDAY
Turkey with a twist or chicken and cheese burrito, green and gold salad bowl, oven fries, sliced peaches, happy birthday treat.
TUESDAY
Stuffed crust pizza choice or ribbette sandwich, green beans, rosy applesauce.
WEDNESDAY
Tacos or hot ham and cheese, corn, pineapple rings, cinnamon puff.
THURSDAY
Sub sandwich or peanut butter and jelly, fixings, baked chips, carrot and celery sticks, fresh fruit, whole wheat cookie.
FRIDAY
No school.

Northeast
ARMA — Northeast USD 246 has announced elementary school breakfast and lunch menus for the week beginning Aug. 31.
All meals are served with milk. Breakfast menus will be as follows:
MONDAY
Assorted cereals, cinnamon raisin biscuit, fruit juices.
TUESDAY
Fruit basket upset, string cheese sticks, fruit juices.
WEDNESDAY
Biscuit, sausage gravy, fruit juices.
THURSDAY
Pancake, sausage links, cantaloupe or fruit juices.
FRIDAY
Cinnamon tastries, chilled peaches or fruit juices.
Lunch menus will be as follows:
MONDAY
Corn dog, tri-tators, baked beans, apple salad.
TUESDAY
Bologna and cheese sandwich, seasoned broccoli, corn nibblets, chunky pineapple, yellow cake.
WEDNESDAY
Beef taco supreme, taco toppings, refried beans, chilled watermelon or chilled peaches, vanilla cookie.
THURSDAY
Breaded chicken sandwich, tator  tots, seasoned carrots, applesauce cake or chilled apple.
FRIDAY
Bosco stick, Italian dunkers sauce, tossed salad, cauliflower, mixed fruit salad or fresh strawberries.

Senior Services
Senior Services Nutrition Center, 3003 N. Joplin, serves lunchtime meals which are open to any person 60 or older.
Participants are asked to make reservations for lunch one day in advance. A donation of $3 per meal is suggested.
All meals are served with milk. The menus for the week of Aug. 31 are as follows:
MONDAY
Swiss steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, mixed vegetables, chocolate pudding, bread and margarine.
TUESDAY
Chicken fajita, refried beans with cheese, peas and carrots, peaches and strawberries, flour tortilla.
WEDNESDAY
Sliced pork roast, sweet potatoes, seasoned green beans, cinnamon stewed apples, bread and margarine.
THURSDAY
Sloppy Joe with bun, peas and onions, potato salad, cherry crumble.
FRIDAY
Ham and beans, coleslaw, orange, cornbread and margarine.
