This weekend, the third annual Albers Marine Indoor-Outdoor Hunting and Fishing Show at Meadowbrook Mall kicks off a month long jaunt of sport, boat and travel shows in the Midwest.
Over 30 vendors will be on display Saturday and Sunday featuring hunting and fishing products, guided outfitters, boats, ATV's, and taxidermy.
Be sure to stop by the Crawford County Convention and Visitors Bureau and enter to win two VIP passes to the Kansas Sport, Boat and Travel Show scheduled for Feb. 19-22 in Wichita.
On Monday, the Tulsa Sport, Boat and Travel Show will get underway at the QuickTrip Pavilion at the Tulsa Fairgrounds and continue through Sunday, Feb. 8. The Crawford County Convention and Visitors Bureau will have a booth at the show splitting time with the Greater Labette County Convention and Visitors Bureau.
On Thursday, the Topeka Sport, Boat and Travel Show will start at the Topeka ExpoCentre. The Crawford County CVB will also be present at this show splitting space with the Greater Labette County CVB allowing both offices to participate in two shows at the same time in two different markets.
The Kansas Sport, Boat and Travel Show will be next on the schedule at the Kansas Coliseum in Wichita Feb. 19-22.

Vote for Frontenac Bakery, Big Brutus
With 18 days left to vote in the 8 Wonders of Kansas Commerce contest, over 5,000-plus votes have been received (overall) in the contest.
Be sure to log onto www.kansassampler.org and vote for the Southeast Kansas finalists Big Brutus, the Frontenac Bakery, Cobalt Boats of Neodesha and the Wolf Creek Nuclear Power Plant in Burlington in the contest.
