  • LETTER TO THE EDITOR: In response to Ms. Stoneberger

  • Megan, I can answer your question. Everybody that doesn’t need service is getting it. Kansans that contribute to the elections of these people are being served. The governor is a former senator with a bad voting record.

Gov. Brownback is another Rep. Lynn Jenkins. They cater to drug companies, Big Oil, large banks and so on. The same banks that are being bailed of their greed and stupidity. Banks that are foreclosing on hundreds of thousands of homes. The people we elected to represent us are not and don’t care because we don’t line their pockets with soft money.
Rep. Jenkins, Jerry Moran, Obama nor any other elected idiots care about the little man or woman that is now littler.
Our jobs are being shipped overseas. Another way to serve corporate America to get richer and line more pockets. We will never again have a President like Pres. Clinton.
One of the first cuts made by the governor was education. This is only going to educate children to be as dumb as the politicians are, no offense to the kids.
When you cut education to the point that kids have to have fundraisers to help the schools, it isn’t fair to the kids that it’s cut so our government can line their pockets.
Run for Gov., Ms. Stoneberger. You will get my vote, I promise.
Our government should be citizens that worked all their lives to get by. Now they don’t get by anymore. Thanks for your thoughts and guts enough to say, “It needs to change.”
