  • TRIBAL STAR: Students honor veterans

  • On November 9th, St. Paul High School students presented their annual Veterans’ Day program.  Director Mrs. Julie Spieth did a fantastic job this year and everybody was very thrilled.  They used a 1950’s and 60’s Rock n’ Roll theme including popular songs like Rock and Roll is Here to Stay, Great Balls of Fire, and Rip it up.

The community honored veteran Mr. Charles F. Brown by presenting him with the Joseph G. Crager Maroon and Gold Heart Award for service to our country, community, and school.
This award is given by the St. Paul Alumni and Friends Association.  Mr. Brown was drafted to the Army in December of 1959.  His basic training was held at Fort Leonard Wood, and from there he was sent to Korea in October of 1960. He was stationed at the 38th parallel, which is the division between North and South Korea.
The students of St. Paul High School had a great time and did a wonderful job honoring our veterans.  They take great pride in honoring the men and women who have fought for our country and would like to see you all there next year!
