Charles Ray Reno, 49, of Coyle, OK, passed away Monday, August 17, 2009 at his residence.

Charles Ray Reno, 49, of Coyle, OK, passed away Monday, August 17, 2009 at his residence.
He was born May 10, 1960 at Ft. Riley, Kansas to Claude B. and Linda Lou (Munninger) Bevins Reno. He moved around as a child with his family from military base to military base. He attended many high schools, last of which was at Yates Center, KS.
Charles married Tammy Hawley on August 29, 1979 at Manhattan, KS. She survives at the family home.
He served in the United States Army in Iraq during Desert Storm. He retired from the United States Army as Sgt. First Class after 16 years of service. He was a mechanic at Tinker Air Force Base.
He was a member of the Patriot Guard Riders of Oklahoma.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Matthew Reno and his wife, Maranda, of Chandler, Oklahoma; a brother, Robert Reno of Pittsburg; a sister, Marlene McAfee of Mulberry, KS; and a granddaughter, Cabella Reno, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Russell A. Reno and Ray Eugene Reno.
Graveside memorial services will be 2:30 p.m. Monday (August 31) at the National Cemetery at Fort Scott, Kansas with Danny Talbot officiating.  The Fort Scott VFW #1165 Honor Guard will provide military services.    
The family suggests memorials to the Patriot Guard Riders of Oklahoma.
