    Citizens

    Pittsburg Senior Citizens Club will meet at 1 p.m. Bingo will be played and December birthdays celebrated. Members will also decorate the Christmas tree.

    Timmons concert
    Pittsburg State University music students and faculty will perform in the annual Timmons Chapel holiday concert at 7:30 p.m.
    Part of the program will feature Christmas music, and the PSU String Ensemble will perform works ranging from Corelli to Bach.
    The concert will be open free to the entire community.
    Retired City Employees
    Retired City Employees Group will meet at 11:15 a.m. at the Corner Bistro.
    All retired  City of Pittsburg employees and their spouse/friend may attend the luncheon gathering.
    Carthage concert
    CARTHAGE, Mo. — A Christmas  concert will be presented at 6:30 p.m. at the Fairview Christian Church, 2320 S. Grand, Carthage, Mo.
    Featured will be Crawford and Co., Duke Mason, Lois Baima, Carla Bergeron and Linda Simmons. There will be no admission charge.
    Following the concert will be the annual Christmas cookie celebration, and those attending are invited to bring their favorite cookies. Coffee and hot chocolate will also be served.
